The Randa Chamoun Scholarship

"The purpose of this scholarship is to honor Randa for her attitude and determination and to continue to keep to her memory alive by providing assistance to those in need, to help them accomplish what Randa could not. Going to school and earn a degree or learning a trade."

Purpose:
  • This scholarship was made in remembrance of Randa Chamoun a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and more.
  • The purpose of the Randa Chamoun Scholarship Fund is to provide an individual with tuition towards a program at Technology Learning Center.
  • The intention of this scholarship is to help an individual with funding, because of financial hardships due to loss of employment.
Award Components:
  • Technology Learning Center awards this scholarship on as need basis to a student that meets the criteria listed below.
  • The scholarship amount will be awarded only to programs recognized by ACCSC and does not exceed 20% of the total tuition of the program in interest.
Award Criteria:
  1. Applicant must possess a High School Diploma or its equivalence.
  2. Applicant must be at minimum 18 years of age.
  3. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a permanent resident ID card or current passport.
  4. Applicant must apply for the scholarship in writing.
  5. Applicant must submit to the school director proof of financial hardships through unemployment records or proof of yearly income below $20,000 based on the previous year income tax return.
  6. The scholarship is offered in discount form applied to tuitions for courses taken at Technology Learning Center's main facility in Oxford, MA.
  7. The school management team consisting of the School Director and Associate Director will review the applicant’s eligibility and grant the scholarship based on a first come first serve basis. This is providing that the maximum amount of scholarships cannot exceed the number of ten per one calendar year which is January through December.
